One week left to get your nominations in for the Vice-Chancellor's Engage Awards 2025

Posted in: Rewarding Public Engagement

The Vice-Chancellor's Engage Awards closes on Thursday 10 April at 4pm, but there is still time to submit a nomination. The Public Engagement Unit are happy to help, provide feedback and answer any questions.

The Vice-Chancellor's Engage Awards aim to celebrate the achievements of colleagues from across the University of Bath working to involve and engage people with their research. You can apply in one of four categories:

  • Informing - activities that share and tell people about your research.
  • Involving - activities where people have meaningful roles in your research.
  • Collaborating - activities where people are equal partners with you in your research.
  • Local and Civic Engagement - for work, teams and individuals that have made outstanding civic contributions on behalf of the University through engaging with local civil society organisations, community groups, residents and charities.

Shortlisted nominees will be invited to be part of the Vice-Chancellor's Engage Awards and Showcase on the 25 June. This is an opportunity to raise the profile of your research within the University and the local community. Check out the winners from the 2023 Vice-Chancellor's Engage Awards.

The Awards are open to all staff from the Education and Research (including doctoral students) and Technical and Experimental job families. We also welcome submissions from staff in the Management Specialist and Administration job family who support and input into research. The Local and Civic Engagement Award category is open to all staff.

Find out more about the categories and how to enter on the Engage Awards Nominations Guide.

If you would like feedback on your application or have any questions, please get in touch with us at public-engagement@bath.ac.uk.

The deadline for nominations is Thursday 10 April, 4pm.
